Student Instructor
CC offers extensive training for student instructors and cosmetology students who have graduated from cosmetology school, but have not taken, or failed their state board exams. Classes are offered Sunday's and Monday's each month by appointment only. CC guarantees that every student who attends will PASS if they apply the tutoring methods taught.
Student Instructor State Board tutoring is offered for written exam, practical exam, or both. Below is a description of the tutoring program. Each cosmetology instructor will get one on one, individualized training on Sunday's or Mondays according to their chosen time slots. Totaling 4 hours of personalized training that will guarantee passing the state board exam.

This program offers lesson plan preparation assistance which will help you choose the best examination topic for presentation of the 11 state board topics required to choose from. Based off your skills and capability we will choose a lesson plan topic and show you how to write and format an amazing lesson plan to present.PLEASE NOTE THAT HAIR UNIVERSITY DOES NOT PAY ANY TESTING FEES FOR STATE BOARD. YOU ARE REQUIRED TO PAY FOR YOUR OWN TESTING FEES FOR STATE BOARD, ALONG WITH ALL STATE BOARD PACKING KITS.

This program will teach you the required, correct way to present your lesson plan in front of the state board exam proctors. I will show you how to pack you’re your kit according to the chosen topic for presentation, and how to speak with confidence during your presentation.

COSMETOLOGY STUDENT WRITTEN EXAM 160.00
This program offers extensive training for cosmetology students who have graduated from cosmetology school, but have not taken, or failed their state board examination. Do not fear Hair University is here! Classes are offered online, but may be done 1 on 1 in person for and additional 50$ an hour with a minimum of 2 hours. Students will learn through an individual customized plan that is used in our training program formulated for the cosmetology written exam. PLEASE NOTE THAT HAIR UNIVERSITY DOES NOT PAY ANY TESTING FEES FOR STATE BOARD. YOU ARE REQUIRED TO PAY FOR YOUR OWN TESTING FEES FOR STATE BOARD, ALONG WITH ALL STATE BOARD PACKING KITS. We will provide state board packing kits for an additional fee.
COSMETOLOGY STUDENT PRACTICAL EXAM 160.00
Mondays are reserved for practical examination training only from 8am until 2pm. Practical examination training is 6 hours of training where each state board procedure is practiced. Students must attend Practical exam orientation before starting practical examination training on Monday. Practical Exam Orientation is on During orientation students will receive a state board packing list, learn how to pack your state board kit, and gain a thorough understanding of what is expected during the state board practical exam. Please note that Hair University does not provide state board packing kits unless requested in advance for an additional fee. Once your balance is paid in full you will receive an email with the state board packing list. All Items on the state board packing list must be brought with you to the class.This program guarantees that every student who attends will PASS if you follow our customized plan for you!
